Minister of Foreign Affairs D.Tsogtbaatar paid official visit to Singapore. This is the first time a Mongolian Minister of Foreign Affairs made a visit to Singapore since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 1970. During the visit, Minister D.Tsogtbaatar made a formal agreement with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Singapore Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan and exchanged views on bilateral relations, trade, and the economic and regional multilateral cooperation. Additionally, D.Tsogtbaatar is participating in the Mongolia-Singapore Business Discussion Forum.

The Business Council of Mongolia, Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Mongolian Ministry to Singapore jointly organized the Singapore-Mongolia Business discussion. From both sides, there were over 140 representations of the private sector. Within the 50 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries, the Minister of Foreign Affairs is meeting this much in depth with Singaporean business operators and this is a significant occasion according to specialists.
Within the framework of the visit of the minister, the Mongolian Economy magazine has produced its “The Sunrise Industry” special edition for investors, business operators, and tourists. The magazine is composed of the Mongolian economy, business environment, pillar sectors of the abundant supplied mining, unlimited resource that is agriculture and nomadic by nature tourism. Likewise, the Mongolian culture, history and heritage was also included. This issue has also aimed to include the appearance of our capital city in a combination of the past and present in a way that it is felt by the senses of our reader. We are confident that the edition can give a full scope and imagery for anybody interested in Mongolia. Even when the visit has concluded, our magazine will remain there.
The presentation of the magazine will not end with this forum. It will be sent to the Mongolian embassies across the world and continue to fulfill it duties to inform and advertise Mongolia. This honorable and responsible role was carried out by the Mongolian Economy magazine as a special edition in this visit.
